Your rig's budget?

I found my calendar unusually free the past months, so I've spent a ton of time exploring some local forest roads in my 2021 Forester. It was bone stock when I started, but since then I've added a lift kit, a rooftop tent, all-terrain tires, and some skid plates. I've also done some smaller mods and spent almost $4,000 over the last five months to get it set up for overlanding.

So let's hear it, what have you all dropped on your rig in a year for hobby purposes only?

@gav1n.s.frstr I'm sitting around $2,500 this year between suspension upgrades and recovery gear, and that's not even touching camping add-ons yet. It creeps up fast once you start customizing. Hahahaha. It's an old marketing trick to get you hooked once and then forever!

Hah @gav1n.s.frstr, that sounds like a solid setup already. I’ve probably dropped around $3k this year just on tires, lights, and some skid protection. Can’t stop once you start tweaking. Did you have any surprise mods that ended up being way more useful than you expected?
